How ClearShift works for professionals

  1. You choose when and how you want to work

  2. We connect you with establishments that need support

  3. You are paid directly by the establishment, not by ClearShift

  4. ClearShift supports coordination, communication, and clarity upfront

Types of work available

1. Events / Staff‑on‑Demand

  • For one‑off shifts, events, or last‑minute cover.

  • Shifts are typically ad‑hoc

  • Rates, dress code, and expectations are shared upfront

  • Payment (wages and tips) is made directly by the establishment

2. Casual / Part‑Time work
For regular but non‑permanent shifts.

  • This may include:

  • Weekend‑only work

  • A limited number of shifts per month

  • Semi‑regular roles that suit flexible availability

  • Casual / part‑time engagements are usually reviewed after a few months. If a role becomes more regular or ongoing, the establishment may decide to offer a permanent position.

3. Permanent roles

  • For professionals looking for longer‑term, stable positions.

  • Full‑time or long‑term roles within an establishment

  • Terms are agreed directly between you and the establishment

  • ClearShift facilitates the introduction and matching

Important to know

  1. ClearShift is not your employer

  2. We do not manage payroll, tax, or employment contracts

  3. You are responsible for agreeing rates and availability with the establishment

  4. ClearShift focuses on quality matches and clear communication
